Early estimates of the insured losses resulting from Hurricane Laura range from $4bn (£2.98bn) to $12bn, with the damage concentrated in southern Louisiana.
Air Worldwide estimated the onshore property losses resulting from the hurricane to be in the range of $4bn to $8bn, while Karen Clark & Co predicted the losses could be closer to $9bn, with $8.7bn
