Fidelis takes total 2020 financing past $1bn with debt raise

Fidelis has again increased its capital reserves through a $300m (£241m) debt raise, meaning the specialty insurer and reinsurer has now raised in excess of $1bn in capital this year.

The company previously announced equity raises of $300m in February and $500m last week, and is now capitalised in excess of $2bn.

The latest $300m raise comes in the form of senior notes due in 2030
