The acquisition of Markerstudy's Gibraltar-based insurance business cost Qatar Re just £37.9m once cash assets were taken into consideration.
According to the Qatar Insurance Company’s financial results, Qatar Re paid £108m for Markerstudy’s capacity provider, which came with a total of £70.2m in cash assets.
