Willis exec slams risk management disconnect

The risk management functions of a significant number of insurers have little direct connection to the decision-making that drives those organizations, Dave Ingram, executive vice president of Willis Re has claimed.

In a recent blog posted on WillisWire, Ingram said these risk management functions equated to risk management ‘entertainment systems', which are there but have little tangible benefit.
