Sandy to cost Swiss Re $900m
Swiss Re has estimated that its claims burden from superstorm Sandy will cost $900m, net of retrocession and before tax.
The reinsurer has also estimated the total insured loss will reach between $20bn and £25bn. However, it warned of significant uncertainty surrounding the estimate and may be subsequently adjusted
