Transatlantic demands $350m arbitration from AIG

AIG’s former reinsurance unit, Transatlantic Holdings, filed a demand for arbitration against the company tied to losses of more than $350m from securities lending.

The demand, announced in a regulatory filing, adds to disputes between Transatlantic Holdings and AIG over losses that helped lead to the $182.3bn rescue of AIG.

Transatlantic said earlier this month
