Geneva Association: Insurers not a systemic risk

Insurers and reinsurers do not carry the systemic risks of other financial intuitions, insurance think tank Geneva Association has claimed in its latest report.

The study, Systemic Risk in Insurance, claims that the insurance sector presents a lower risk because premiums are paid up front and policies are long term with controlled outflows allowing insurers
