XL second quarter net income drops 66%, but CEO happy
XL's second quarter net income fell 66%, but CEO Mike McGavick said this was a quarter in which the strength of the franchise 'shines through'.
XL's chief executive Mike McGavick was happy with the Bermudian (re)insurer's performance in the second quarter of 2009 despite a 66% drop in net income.
