Zurich closes Santander acquisition
Zurich Financial Services Group has closed the acquisition of 51% participation in general insurance, life insurance and pension operations of Santander in Brazil and Argentina.
This decision forms part of Zurich’s long-term alliance with Banco Santander SA in Latin America.
Zurich and Santander are entering into a 25-year strategic distribution arrangement in Latin America.
