Chartis responds to SRA decision to scrap the ARP in 2013
Insurer Chartis has responded to the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s decision to replace the Assigned Risks Pool in 2013 with a system where insurers offer a three-month extended policy period to firms who cannot obtain professional indemnity insurance for the following year.
In a statement the company said: "The result of the extensive consultation process by the SRA has been highly disappointing. It appears that the SRA has paid little regard to the consultation
