Ombudsman reports no let-up in PPI complaints

The Financial Ombudsman Service received 4000 payment protection insurance complaints each week in the first quarter of 2015 with 74% of cases upheld.

Consumers referred 89,935 complaints about financial businesses in the quarter of which 49,377 were about PPI. Bank accounts and mortgages were the next most complained about financial products.
