Court orders for £48,975 to be confiscated from Yorkshire ghost broker
The Insurance Fraud Enforcement Department has today had £48,975 confiscated from a ghost broker jailed in July for selling invalid car insurance to more than 100 motorists in the Bradford and Leeds areas of Yorkshire.
The confiscation order handed down at Leeds Crown Court will see Razwan Iqbal, 33, of Upland Grove, Leeds, have to sell his family home, another property he rents out and car to pay back the money.
