Eiopa launches equivalence consultation
The European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority has launched a consultation on the potential equivalence of the Bermudan, Japanese and Swiss supervisory systems with Solvency II.
The consultation, which closes on 23 September, will seek advice on whether the systems of the three countries meet the criteria for equivalence for third country regulatory and supervisory regimes.
