Pothole claims double in January
The number of insurance claims for pothole-related damage to cars more than doubled in January to 1000, compared with the same month last year, according to estimations by AA Insurance.
A third of people surveyed in a study by AA and Populus of nearly 23 000 AA members, also said their vehicles have suffered some damage caused by a pothole.
