Vandalised Rothko painting can be restored
The Mark Rothko painting that was defaced at the Tate Modern on Sunday can be restored, according to Robert Read, head of art and private client at Hiscox.
One of Rothko's Seagram Murals, Black on Maroon, displayed at the London art gallery was vandalised yesterday with a small amount of black paint, the gallery reported.
