FSA approval time lengthens again
The average length of time it takes the Financial Services Authority to authorise financial services businesses has started rising again, according to data seen by City law firm Reynolds Porter Chamberlain.
It said average FSA approval time stood at 18.2 weeks in Q3 2011, up 5% on Q2 when it stood at 17.3 weeks.
RPC says that the increase reverses a fall in authorisation times, which peaked at 21.1 weeks
