Howden boosts GWP by 45% with PYV buy
Howden Broking Group has grown its gross written premium on its professional indemnity and directors’ & officers’ liability books in the UK from £35m to just over £50m with the acquisition of PYV.
This comes following the news yesterday that Hyperion's Lloyd's broking subsidiary Howden had acquired the core broking activity of professional indemnity specialist PYV, for an undisclosed sum.
