Aon UK reports an 8% decrease in commission and fees

Aon has reported an 8% decline in commission and fees for its UK arm in the second quarter of 2010 to $167m (£106.9m) (Q2 2009: $181m).

For the first six months of 2010 the UK business saw a 3% drop to $288m (H1 2009: $297m).

Overall total revenue increased 1% to $1.9bn in the second quarter of 2010, with a decline in organic revenue
