NU set to move jobs to Sri Lanka
Norwich Union will test a new facility in Sri Lanka and may move more positions from the UK to Asia next year. The operation in Columbo will initially employ 25 people in September in finance administration roles from the company's general insurance unit in Norwich, said a spokeswoman.
The pilot is expected to last three months. "We will see if it has been successful at the end of the year and then decide if it can be used in other areas," said the spokeswoman.
