Hannover Re profits from 2003
Hannover Re has posted a €732.1m profit for 2003, a rise of 55% on the €470.9m it made over 2002.
The company said that gross written premiums were down 9% from €12.5bn in 2002 to €11.3bn in 2003, with the fall being blamed on exchange-rate effects as well as restructuring activities.
