Partner and RenRe ratings unaffected by ChannelRe write-off
Ratings agency AM best has said that the ‘A+’ financial strength ratings of Bermudian reinsurers PartnerRe and Renaissance Re are unaffected after Wednesday’s combined $200m writedown of equity stakes in MBIA’s financial guarantee sidecar reinsurer, ChannelRe.
