Amlin acquires specialist marine broker
Lloyd's insurer Amlin has acquired SM Marine Holdings which, through its subsidiary St Margarets Insurances , is a leading UK retail yacht insurance broker. SMH had net assets of £1.42 million as at 30 September 2003.
In a statement today, Amlin reasserted its strategy for growth through selective acquisition, "in order to develop businesses with significant profit potential while maintaining a balance betweenOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
