Fitch upgrades Japanese insurers
Fitch Ratings has upgraded four Japanese insurance companies' Insurer Financial Strength ratings and simultaneously removed them from Rating Watch Positive on which they were placed on 24 April 2006. A Stable Outlook has been assigned.
Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance has been upgraded to 'A' from 'AA-'; Nippon Life Insurance has been upgraded to 'AA' from 'AA-'; Sompo Japan Insurance has been upgraded to 'AA' from 'AA-' and Tokio Marine &
