Swiss Re and Benfield embrace electronic broking platform
Benfield and Swiss Re are to use a centralised electronic messaging and routing system to standardise and streamline broking administrative processes between the two organisations. The internal platform, which was developed by Trace ISYS, integrates with the TWINS broking system and adopts ACORD’s latest electronic messaging standards for the exchange of technical reinsurance data.
All of Benfield’s UK Property and Casualty Excess of Loss, Proportional Treaty and Facultative reinsurance business with Swiss Re will now be processed through the platform.
