AM Best reacts to Lloyd's repurchasing news
A.M. Best Co. has said that its ratings of Lloyd's of London, Lloyd's Reinsurance Company (China, the Society of Lloyd's (and of debt issued by the Society remain unchanged following Lloyd's announcement that the Society has offered to repurchase up to £100m nominal value of its subordinated loan notes.
"As a result of the repurchase, a gain to the Society is likely to be crystallised because the debt issues currently trade at a significant discount to nominal value. A.M. Best believes that LloydOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
