Omega bucks Lloyd’s trend with healthy profit for 2005
Omega Underwriting, the Lloyd’s managing agent and Bermudian start-up (re)insurer has unveiled 2005 profits of £6.8m, with no material impact from hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma.
The profit after tax arising from Omega Underwriting Agents fees and profit commissions was £6.5m. The group manages Lloyd's syndicate 958 which has forecast a profit of between 2.5% and 12.5% on
