QBE US acquisitions boost insurer's rating

A.M. Best has removed the financial strength ratings of A (Excellent) and issuer credit ratings of “a” of QBE Re Group - U.S. (QBE Re) (New York, NY) and its subsidiaries from under review with negative implications. The ratings have been affirmed with a stable rating outlook.

The rating action follows the completion of QBE Reinsurance Corporation’s (Philadelphia, PA) acquisition of 100% of the outstanding stock of National Farmers Union Property and Casualty Company and
