AM Best puts negative outlook on Transatlantic subsidiaries
AM Best has affirmed the A++ (superior) financial strength rating of Transatlantic Holdings, but assigned a negative outlook to its reinsurance subsidiaries Transatlantic Re, Trans Re Zurich and Putnam Re.
The rating agency said that while the rating reflected the group's excellent level of capitalisation and strong operating performance, this was offset by a deterioration in the group's risk-adjustedOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
