AIG Investments to lay off 6% of global workforce
The investment division of American International Group has laid off approximately 6% of its worldwide work force, the company said.
According to an AIG factsheet dating back to September, AIG Investments had 2,100 employees. A 6% reduction reduces headcount by nearly 130.
