BRTF gives claims management sector 18 months to sort itself out or face government regulation
The Better Regulation Task Force today warned that the government would step in to regulate the claims management sector if the industry failed to regulate itself. It follows the publication of BRTF’s “Better Routes to Redress” report into compensation culture this morning. To download of PDF of the Better Regulation Task Force's new paper( click here )
The BRTF notes that Claims Standards Federation is expected to approach the Office of Fair Trading to apply for approval of their Code of Practice, which should set out how claims management companiesOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
