Fed prosecutors pressuring Berkshire to fire Gen Re CEO - report

Federal prosecutors are pressuring Berkshire Hathaway to replace the chief executive of its reinsurance subsidiary General Re, following criminal-fraud convictions of four former General Re executives earlier this year, says the Wall Street Journal, quoting sources.

The discussion regarding the removal of Joseph Brandon as Gen Re's CEO is part of an effort to conclude the government's investigation into the company, says the paper.
