Insurer toasts victory over RSA in contested car hire claim
Royal and Sun Alliance stands to pay "substantial" legal costs in a dispute over a £610 replacement car hire claim, according to insurer DAS. The order to pay the claim and full costs was made in the High Court by the Hon Mr Justice Morison.
The judgment stems from a ULR claim handled by DAS on behalf of a policyholder whose stationary car was struck from behind in March 2004. Liability was not contested.
