Seven arrested after staged accident investigation
City of London Police deployed 80 officers in the North London area today and arrested 7 people, six men and one woman, as part of an investigation into a large-scale insurance fraud and money laundering.
The arrests follow an investigation launched by the Economic Crime Department, working closely with the insurance industry, into a number of individuals who are suspected of making fraudulent accident
