Insurers face extra costs after NHS recovery scheme plan announced
Health Minister Rosie Winterton today published a consultation on the draft Regulations for the new, expanded NHS Injury Costs Recovery scheme. The consultation period will run from 24 September to 17 December 2004.
It will mean that for the first time ever, the NHS will be able to recover costs from insurance companies for treating patients in all cases where personal injury compensation is paid. Hospitals areOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
