Bid defence brings Converium results forward
In what will be interpreted as a bold move in its defence of the hostile takeover bid from French reinsurer Scor, Swiss reinsurer Converium has brought forward its 2006 annual results by three weeks to 28 February.
Converium also said it will use the occasion to present its medium-term strategic plan and the steps towards achieving its sustainable return on equity target of 14% by 2009.
