Equity Insurance Group acquires broker

Equity Insurance Group, today announced the successful acquisition of Coventry based insurance broker, Needham Insurance Services. The move continues the expansion of its UK high street presence. The branch, which has four employees, will continue to trade from its present premises at 33 Clay Lane, Coventry, West Midlands, and will be rebranded Equity Insurance Brokers during the first half of 2006.

Neil and Karen Lowe, who acquired the business in 2002, will continue to run day to day operations. The business has been trading in Coventry for over 30 years, having been started by Michael Needham
