Munich Re launches nat cat google earth for insurers
Munich Re has developed a "Google Earth" for insurers to track natural catastrophes– which is available free to the general public. As part of its push to highlight climate change, the world's largest reinsurer has produced a DVD to be used by insurers, clients and the general public.
The DVD, called "Globe of Natural Hazards", contains data about natural catastrophes gathered by Munich Re and academics from around the world.
The interactive tool works without the need to download
