Freight forwarding firms given regulatory reprieve

The Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Ed Balls, today announced that freight forwarders will be removed from the scope of Financial Services Authority insurance regulation, in a move that will decrease regulation on the industry and help promote its international competitiveness.
