Taylor to step down as Montpelier CEO in June 08
Bermudian reinsurer Montpelier Re has announced that it has extended its chairman and chief executive Anthony Taylor’s contract for 2 years from 1st January 2008, but that he will step down as chief executive from June 30th off that year to take up a newly-created role of executive chairman of the board.
Montpelier said that when that happens Mr Taylor’s base salary will drop from $975,000 a year to $650,000, although he will still be entitled to participate in the company’s annual bonus plan with a
