Atrium syndicate 609 upgraded by Moody's

Moody’s Investors Service has upgraded the performance rating of Atrium Underwriting's syndicate 609 to A (Very Good) following the conclusion of a review for possible upgrade instigated earlier this month. A stable outlook has been assigned to the rating.

The syndicate has recorded a profit of 4% of capacity for the 2001 year of account, following profits for 1998 to 2000, in contrast to the material losses recorded for the market as a whole.
