AM Best affirms XL Capital's financial strength ratings, outlook

(BESTWIRE) US ratings agency A.M. Best has removed from under review with negative implications and affirmed the financial strength rating (FSR) of A (Excellent) and issuer credit ratings (ICR) of “a” of Bermuda-based (re)insurer XL Capital (Bermuda) and its members. A.M. Best also has removed from under review with negative implications and affirmed the ICR of “bbb” and all debt ratings of the holding company, XL Capital Ltd (Cayman Islands) , along with all ratings of the life/health subsidiaries of XL Capital Ltd. All ratings have been assigned a stable outlook.
