Platinum Underwriters announces Charley losses
Bermuda-based Platinum Underwriters has announced that, on the basis of currently available information, it estimates that after-tax losses from Hurricane Charley, net of reinstatement premiums, will range from $20m to $35m.
The company said that it noted that very few clients have yet reported actual losses under its reinsurance treaties and consequently, the estimates are based on the output of commercial andOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
