Government reveals new flood planning policy
The government has launched a planning policy today to help regional and local planners and other stakeholders preventing and manage flood risk in new developments.
Planning Policy Statement 25: Development and Flood Risk is designed to clarify that flood risk should be taken into account at all stages of the planning process. It directs councils to avoidOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
