Kiln posts profit for 2001, despite WTC losses
Lloyd's insurer Kiln has announced positive performance for the 2001 year of account, describing results as "paricularly strong despite the World Trade Centre disaster".
In a company statement it said Kiln non-marine Syndicate 807 delivered an profit of 5.8 per cent on capacity and flagship Syndicate 510 resulted in a profit for the year as forecast in the insurer'sOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
