Equitas settles with American Standard
Equitas has reached a “comprehensive” agreement with American Standard Companies to settle all American Standard’s insurance claims against underwriters at Lloyd’s of London reinsured by Equitas.
Equitas will pay a total of $84.5m under the agreement, $10m will be paid in the first quarter of this year and the balance will be placed in a trust to meet future asbestos related claims.
