AIG fires executives over Spitzer investigation
AIG has dismissed two executives who refused to co-operate with the ongoing Eliot Spitzer investigation into alleged malpractices.
The firm said that it had fired the executives after they invoked their Fifth Amendment rights to silence. The US Fifth Amendment allows defendants in a trial or investigation to refuse to testify dueOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
