Paddick calls for stricter wholesaling regime
Following the collapse of intermediary Tribune Risk & Insurance Services, Institute of Insurance Brokers director general Andrew Paddick said that the Financial Services Authority should seriously consider making the "wholesaling of insurance" subject to a special permission.
Mr Paddick said: "There are a number of highly professional and reliable specialist brokers in the market who offer their schemes to other brokers. But unfortunately, in contrast, there are also aOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
