Markel International gets rating approval from AM Best
AM Best has affirmed the financial strength rating of A- (Excellent) and assigned an issuer credit rating of “a-” to Markel International Insurance Company (MIICL). The outlook for both ratings is stable.
The rating reflects MIICL’S adequate risk-adjusted capitalisation and implicit support from the parent company, Markel Corporation. An offsetting factor is MIICL’s underwriting performance, which hasOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
