Highway acclaims £11m fraud saving

On the fifth anniversary of its adoption of Advanced Validation, as part of its continued fraud strategy, insurer Highway has claimed it has successfully prevented over £11m in potentially fraudulent motor insurance claims.

Using the Advanced Validation Solution (AVS) from DigiLog UK, Highway has screened nearly 19 000 motor claims cases since 2002, with over 15% repudiated or withdrawn.

In addition, Highway said the use
