Mass hails "common sense" government decision
The chairman of the Motor Accidents Solicitors Society, today welcomed the Government's overturning of a ruling by the House of Lords regarding the gritting of icy roads.
The decision followed the damages action against East Sussex County Council by Geoffrey Goodes, who was paralysed when his car skidded on ice, on an un-gritted road and hit a bridge parapet.
